It is with great sadness that I must inform you all that our friend Forrest L. Wood passed from this world this morning.
Even given his age, he was as sharp as ever and often he would call or text me some quick thought or note about a youth event he saw, a conservation issue he heard about or an idea he had for fishing and or the federation.
There is no doubt in my mind that the entire industry is obviously were it is today and much better off for knowing Forrest and Nina. However, putting the industry aside, I have no doubt that I am a better person for knowing him and am proud to have gotten the chance to call him my friend.
